Self-publishing entrepreneurship can be fraught with obstacles and hurdles. And yet, many authors valiantly persevere. With recognition of the passion and effort that goes into not just writing the book but all the steps to publishing, we want to celebrate these author entrepreneurs! The year 2020 was extra challenging with the world pandemic and it was during this year that personal and professional shifts happened for many. Countless new authors found time to write their stories, life lessons, yearnings, and desires. Writing has long been considered therapeutic, a way of releasing stress. And it doesn't matter if it's fiction or non-fiction as it holds for whatever the genre or subject matter. Writing a book inspires — both the author and the reader. In 2020, that extra challenging year, we introduced the Pinecone Book Award, symbolizing rebirth and renewal.PINECONE BOOK AWARD MISSION
To recognize, promote, and celebrate books that foster well-being and positive living — spiritually, mentally, physically, emotionally, and socially.
